One of the most popular Australian timber species. Blackbutt Timber is hardy and known to have a handsome, relatively uniform colour. Colour is usually a pale straw or blonde with the occasional pink tinge.

Blackbutt usually has a straight fine and even grain. The light even colour has made Blackbutt very popular for interior design, offering a clean minimal palette.
