NSW Spotted Gum

There is no other timber in the world like Spotted Gum.

Colour varies widely from dark walnut brown to pale straw and everything in between, some boards may exhibit a tinge of olive green. A red hue can also be present, trees that grow in the north of Australia are on average darker and redder than the southern growth. Grain is interlocked and a beautiful rippled grain is common. Looks aside, Spotted Gum is incredibly naturally durable, hard, tough and resilient.
