Overview

Tallowwood is an extremely durable, prestigious timber. It’s highly sought after not only for its unique colour but also for its hardiness.

Predominantly yellowish, middle honey brown with an occasional tinge of olive green. Grain is fine and interlocked with attractive wavy grain common. Tallowwood is one of the most naturally durable timbers in the world having an extremely high resistance to insect attack and rot making it a longevous material that will make a lasting impression.
